This is my new compilation CD, which of course is available on all digital music platforms. It’s called 'Apps, Writing Systems and Remakes'.

Over the past few years, I released two apps based on 12 note (12-tone) writing systems... ('System 2412' and 'Abstract Clock Tracks'), I also released digital singles written exclusively with progressions created using 12 note (12-tone) writing systems... ('We Have Controlled the Federation' and 'Frenetically Inconsistent Velocities Entwined').

Tutorial videos for these apps featured progression examples that have been reworked and arranged into songs with solos, melodies and full production... ('Corrupting the Kids', 'Varying Various Variables', 'Rectangle Square Rectangle Square' and ('The Brightest Bulb in the Cookie Jar').

More progressions that were featured in other app promotional videos have also been reworked and arranged into short complete songs.. ('Is Something out There', 'The Bees and the Basic Triads', Between an Igloo and an Ice Box' and 'Strike That').

I also released two apps that are based on alphabet writing systems... ('Play The Name' and 'Create a Riff').

The first app that I ever released is called 'Beyond Life And Cosmic Kinetics' aka 'BLACK'. This is a song that I wrote and recorded specifically to be played as a multitracking app.

More multitracking apps followed with remakes of some of my very earliest recordings... ('Kill the Digital Distortion', 'Razor Blade Babies' and B.C. 2013').

I also released digital singles as remakes of cover songs... 'She Blotted Me With Science', 'The Ink Panther' and 'All Along the WatchTower').

Since none of this material has ever been on an official "CD release", I thought it would be cool to put all of these compositions and recordings into a full length collection as release them as a CD entitled ‘Apps, Writing Systems and Remakes’.

One of the most spectacular albums I've heard since Lateralus. Amazing that this came as the output of a person grieving the loss of people whom they built lives and careers together with. The pain yet exuberance of this music is so enlivening, full of need for empathy and sympathy yet also hope and joy in carrying on to be an awakened person and express the highest good. Advosary
